![]() Went round and round and finally figured I could just cancel after a month if I didn't like it. Said I had to sign up for the campaign first. I asked repeatedly if it was the first $300 each month or half of a $600 monthly budget with me paying the other half, etc. ![]() They refused to release any of the details of the promotion, vaguely promising it was $900 over three months. I dealt with this exact scenario a couple weeks ago. They were selling extra leads to other businesses in their area from Yelp! I worked with a company doing $75/day and was positively swimming in customers. Everybody wants to only pay $150 but perform like they’re paying $1,500. You’ll just get frustrated and feel like you’re being scammed when really you aren’t doing enough to turn leads. ![]() If you’re honest with what you need customer wise, if you’re trying to grow your business, then really pitching in the money for a robust marketing package will help. That’s why Yelp says it needs to tailor your advertising and why it does work, however it is also a major stepping point for some businesses because you really should listen to their advice if you get a knowledgeable rep. However, for inventory based sales like cars, that is garbage. If you’re a home builder, awesome! The marketing is worth it. Of those, usually only 20%-50% are qualified leads, so on a great month you’ll get 1 job. Assuming you turn 10% of those into leads you are looking at 1.9 leads. Setting a daily budget of $15/day would net you a whopping 18.75 clicks for the month, so let’s say 19. In some industries the CPC is up to $24/click.

Perhaps it’s just because I’m working on an incredibly powerful computer, but there was absolutely no lag time while cutting this 4K video of a sunset into separate sections during my testing of Camtasia.Īdding in overlays and effects is just as simple as adding your initial media files. Trimming, cutting, and pasting sections of your video file is extremely fast and easy to do – simply select the desired section of your video using the red and green play-head markers, then cut and paste it into a new track just as if it was text in a word processor. You can create as many tracks as necessary, rearrange them and rename them as you like to keep your media organized during longer complex projects. Simply dragging your selected media to either the preview window or the timeline adds it to your project and populates a new track automatically if required. Once you’ve breezed through adding the media you want to work with, Camtasia continues to be extremely easy to use and well-designed. You can also import files directly from Google Drive, which is a nice touch, but one of the most useful features is the ability to import directly from your mobile device using TechSmith’s companion app, Fuse (more on that later!). Everything you import sits in the ‘Media Bin’ section, and besides that, you can access the Library of all preset media that comes built into the program. Importing media is a snap, as it functions just like any other ‘File Open’ dialog. ![]() Once you begin to add effects that have customizable options, a ‘Properties’ panel also appears in the top right. There are three main areas of the interface: the media track timelines at the bottom, the media and effects library at the upper left, and the preview area at the upper right. Finally, we’ll look at a few of the extra features Camtasia offers, take a quick look at the Fuse mobile companion app, and see how you can share your videos with the world. One could make a bank of batteries, but KNOW that this comes with various other issues, ie keeping the batteries balanced. THIS accounts for about 40A.h during a load shed !!!! Thus on load shed days use the lights sparingly or you will drastically reduce the battery life !! And THIS is why Pieter is trying to source a larger 12V battery. PS – once you have a deep cycle battery you will add an inverter for the tv/computer. Hoppy’s 24 off 3W LED lights only draw 6A. With a typical 100A.h deep cycle battery you could use 50Ah over a period of about 5 hours, thus a 10A draw. Make no mistake, that IS a lot of light for backup purposes, though you wont be reading under these lights. This could be 6 downlighters, or about 1,5m of 14W/m LED strip (remember you CAN use a number of small strips to total up to this 1,5m). That is a constant 1,5A draw, or about 18W. IF you use the 7A.h battery – you could expect to use about 3A.h per load shed and not damage the battery. Better still if the battery capacity is such that you only draw 10% per night. – if you only draw 10% of the battery capacity per night you could reasonably expect to get 5 000 cycles from it, or more that 10 years !ĬONLUSION – your battery capacity SHOULD be more than DOUBLE the nightly current draw. – if you use 50% of the capacity each night you may reasonably expect to get 1000 cycles out of this AGM battery (this would be between 5 cycles for a deep cycle battery) Graphs from the following website – īasically this graph states the following : Add 1 or 2 kids and the power draw WILL drastically increase.įor the purpose of this thread I will be using conventional wisdom. NOTE – this is for a household with TWO people. Thus our system draws maybe 12Ah on a long winters night. The bedrooms draw maybe another 1Ah per night. The 12V lights here draws another 5A.h per winter night The current draw is thus : (3+1)x1,4 = 5,6A.h During winter this light is used roughly 3 hours at night and another 1 hour in the morning. Kitchen – 1,2m of 14W/m high bright LED strip. OR do you want to switch over a few rooms completely to 12V lighting ? ![]() WHAT do you want to do with your 12V lights ?Ī couple of LED strips and one or two downlighters purely to provide emergency lighting ? There are a number of technical bits to consider when selecting your components : The other approach may look something like this –ġ00Ah battery with a 220V and/or PV charger system. When eskom takes a brake the unit automatically switch over to the battery and your light wont even know the power went off. When 220V is supplied to the unit, the light is powered from the 220V source and the battery remains fully charged. But you connect the light (load) directly to the charger unit. This specific charger system makes it a VERY versatile solution !! You connect 220V to the charger, then connect it to the battery. The cost effective load-shed-buster system may well look like this – There are just so many things that determine what will work for YOU : Never have there been a topic more hotly debated than what battery to use and how to use it. Now to power the 12V lights when eskom takes time off to count their profits …. ![]() Yes, many downlighters have been 12V for years already, but powered from 220V. Long long ago in an era before candles, in fact in a time before a uniquely african thing called “load shedding” we had the option of using transformers to power 12V light systems. Not sure if this should be a separate thread, or if we should rather keep all the info together …. This is an excerpt from ChrisF’s post on the Hilux forum: ![]() Gaming-oriented, the 275R has shock attributes that allow it to shine in the field. Inside you have room to install a 370mm graphics card, a 170mm cooler and a 180mm power supply to build your ultimate gaming machine. With its optimized airflow via the "Direct Airflow Path" front panel, your components will remain at very acceptable temperatures even under intense stress and the watercooling compatibility provides the possibility of mounting a radiator of up to 360 mm. On the program, a tempered glass side panel, 3 120 mm fans or 2 3.5 "bays and 4 2.5" bays for your hard drives. The Corsair Carbide 275R Airflow mid-tower case is a formidable compendium of technology ready to receive your ATX configuration with honors. If you bend the cables back towards the rear of the case, you should theoretically be able to install both without a problem as long as you plug in the cables after the power supply is secure, but that will be more frustrating.Corsair Carbide 275R Airflow, an elegant case dedicated to gaming. To get around this, we had to remove the HDD caddy from the case and install the PSU first, however if you do that there’s no way to reinstall the caddy afterwards. Unfortunately, our Corsair HX750 PSU is too large to fit in with the cables preinstalled and the hard drive caddy in its factory position. When it comes to installing your power supply, we always recommend - for modular ones - you pre-install the cables first. That would eliminate the clearance issues and also provide ample room to tuck those excess cables out of the way as well. Rear of Caseįor improved compatibility - and as we move away from traditional 3.5-inch drives - we’d like to have seen a half-height hard drive caddy that supports a single 3.5-inch drive in the bottom, that you can slide in and out of the case easily. That said, you’d be far better off mounting the AIO in the front, and running exhaust fans in the roof instead. If you do decide to go that route, we recommend you install your CPU/EPS power cables before installation of the AIO. The roof additionally supports up to a 240mm AIO, with offset mounting locations to reduce motherboard conflicts. There’s also ample room for a standard-thickness 360mm AIO liquid-cooler in the front of the chassis, although you may have to remove the HDD cage to fit it. However, unlike the Pure Base, it’s baked into the motherboard tray itself as opposed to a removable bar. Similar to the be quiet! Pure Base 500 we reviewed earlier this year, Corsair’s also integrated mounting locations for two 2.5-inch SSDs in the front of the case. On top of that, Corsair’s also included support for vertically mounted GPUs as well, although you will have to buy that adapter separately (which sells for $60, direct from Corsair). There’s a soft-touch paint finish throughout, plenty of rubber grommets, and cable passthrough holes located in key positions, for things such as the HD audio front panel header, the PCIe power, and more. The interior of the Corsair 275R Airflow, although spartan in appearance, actually comes together quite nicely. The rear panel has two retainable thumb screws situated at the back of the case. To remove the glass side panel, simply take off the thumb screws from each corner, and lift the panel off. ![]() Usually commercial software or games are produced for sale or to serve a commercial purpose. All this strength, vehicle impact is transmitted through the post to the splice hardware. Our U-Channel Breakaway Sign Post System offers a tensile strength of 70,000 PSI - exactly the right strength for break-away post systems. Please note, this breakaway kit is intended for use with posts weighing 2 lbs./ft. galvanized U-Channel anchor post and one breakaway hardware set (two bolts, two spacers, two lock washers, and two standard washers). It’s very simple and saves you from digging the base out of the ground and installing a new one. Simply bolt the post back into the base post using a replacement hardware kit. This allows for the anchor post, and usually the sign post, to be reused, even after accidents occur. Upon impact, the breakaway system is designed to allow the sign post to break away from the anchor post. The galvanized finish provides the most resistance to rust and easily outlasts other types of posts – making it a great choice for when durability is a key factor. If job site theft is a main concern when purchasing, choosing, and comparing available tools I believe I would locate workmates a tad more respectful of others tools. The corded tools do have an appreciable increase in torque and speed over battery operated though and in your situation I believe, given the cost, I would stick with corded exclusively and invest in heavy duty extension cords. $1000.00 for a rechargeable Lithium set-up would reduce me to corded tools also. I eventually chose a 350w AC/DC power supply produced by a reputable company called Meanwell with a voltage range of 15-18volts DC. Turns out, switching power supplies are very common everywhere in the world, affordable and come in a variety of voltage and power ratings. After a little more research I found that the common everyday laptop power supply is what they call a "switch power supply". The principal of the pc power supply was sound, I just needed something bigger. Even at 180 watts, the biggest pc power supplies couldn't provide enough to overcome the start-up current of my battery operated circular saw or angle grinder. Then I came across the idea of using an old laptop power supply in place of the battery. The voltage seemed right, but alas the wattage was too small.
